Services for Organisations:

Service Audit: Bespoke assessment of your service's behaviour procedures, staff behaviour management practice and the environment. I can report on and make behaviour support recommendations to ensure that the sound foundations are in place for supporting improvement in challenging behaviour.   MORE INFO

Functional Assessment: Assessment of problematic child behaviour is essential to work out the causes. We need to know the function of the child's behaviour prior to any attempts to incorporate behaviour management strategies.    MORE INFO

Strategies and Management Plans: Advice is based on assessment, monitoring and observations of the challenging behaviour etc. The subsequent behaviour advice therefore applies only to the child on whom all this work has taken place. The advice is as individual as the child themself.    MORE INFO

Behaviour Training: An informative general overview of child behaviour support strategies, aimed at creating good understanding of challenging behaviour overall and more supportive ways in which to approach and manage such difficulties.    MORE INFO

New - Service Subscription: Ongoing, time capped, behaviour support services for a nominal monthly investment (From only £350 per month - very limited places).    MORE INFO

Services for Parents:

Services: I am happy to make my services available to parents of children who's behaviours are creating difficulties at home or in school. Some parents are self funding and I strive to make concessions available on all my services for parents who have to use their own funds. Other parents might be able to get their local authorities to make referrals for my services. Some parents might be entitled to my services at almost no cost to them by using Direct Payments Click here for further info.

Evaluation: An initial assessment, evaluation and basic advice visit can be arranged as a special introduction for parents for a fixed fee of £45.00 plus reasonable travel expenses. Due to the one-off nature of this input, payment is in advance (email me for further info). This visit lasts for between 1.5 to 2 hours in the comfort of your own home. Follow up visits can be arranged if required.

Welcome to Behaviour Support Services:

Welcome to my Challenging Behaviour Support Service website. My behaviour support services can be employed for children by Regional Authorities, Individual Organisations or Parents where required. Please also explore my site for challenging behaviour information, challenging behaviour books and related challenging behaviour links.

Here At Behaviour Support Services my goal is to provide you with useful behaviour information that will assist you in dealing with child behaviour issues and concerns relating to problem behaviours exhibited by a child or young person that you are responsible for, care for or love. My child behaviour website will give you insight into the behaviour support services that I have to offer and how I might be able to help. Being well informed by these pages will help you understand what to expect if you feel that it might be beneficial to employ my behaviour support services.

My name is Steven Lamb, I am married and have my own young family. I personally have been helping children and young people with learning disabilities, ranging from moderate to profound, since 1995. I specialise in working with such children who have additional difficulties that also influence their behaviour such as autism, attention deficit disorder and hyperactivity disorder. Neurological conditions might be from birth or from an acquired injury or illness.

Early in 2006, introducing Behaviour Support Services has enabled me to work in a more independent behaviour consultancy capacity. Although the majority of my work has been with children and young people, more recently I have been helping young adults up to the mid 20's age range with their behaviour. All my Behaviour Support Services are now available to parents, carers and service providers alike.

On this site, you will discover all about what behaviour services that I have available, as well as lots of information about challenging behaviour. There will be opportunity to link to other national web sites that might be able to help further and provide you with information about child behaviour more specific to your needs. You will also find some connections and recommendations to more commercial sites where you might be able to buy resources and child behaviour books etc. or employ other, more specific services all relating to child behaviour.

Feel free to browse around via the page tabs at the top of this page. If you have comments or questions about the site, the behaviour information on it or my challenging behaviour support services, or simply

need more information and want to contact me, click on the contact buttons on any page within this site.
