Thank you for showing an interest in the Behaviour Support User Forum

joinnow

This forum is free and is intended to provide further information for service providers and parents alike relating to 'challenging behaviour'. It is easy and straight forward to use and as it grows in members will hopefully provide a community of support and self-help.

Once you join the forum, you will have your own 'blog' and be able to share articles, information, ideas and links to informative websites. You will be able to 'post items' and leave messages or questions on the notice board or participate in 'live' discussions in the chat window.

By joining the forum you will also be signing up for a newsletter. This will only be used when there is something useful to communicate. It certainly won't fill your mailbox with junk! Your email address will be kept private and details not passed on to anyone for mail listing purposes.

Above is a 'screen shot' of what to expect to see when you have registered.

As this is a new facility it will take time to recruit new members so if you are one of the first few to join please be patient while it develops and grows.

There are also, as you might expect, a number of rules to which you will be expected to agree. These are common sense rules such as: no swearing, no misuse of the forum for advertising etc, no passing on of personal details or disclosure of names and so on.

Please enjoy and make the most of this facility and respect other users at all times.

You can join immediately, completely free, by clicking the 'Join Now'  link at the top or bottom of this page.

When you click on the link, you will be taken to a page the same as the one opposite. You should then click on 'create account'.

You will then have to enter a few details, but nothing too personal so it is safe. You will also be expected to agree to the rules.

Having completed the form, you will be sent a confirmation email to the address you have provided. You will then have to click on a link in the email to verify your identity.

Then you are finished, free to explore, add, chat or leave messages for other parents, carers or professionals as word spreads and more people join.

Finally, don't forget to introduce friends or colleagues to make the most of this developing support community / network.

Many regards,

Steve Lamb.
